2.75” tall by 2” diamter. Among my favorite woods to turn, this species is not actually a true cedar, but rather a juniper.  It is known for its aromatic smell when left unfinished and the beautiful burgundy and even  purple coloring in some presentations. I very much like the contrast between the lighter colored  sapwood and the darker heartwood apparent in this species. These trees are evergreens and  as other trees lose their foliage in the fall, this species remains wonderfully green all the way  through the winter.  This form has a very nice shape and beautiful grain.
