7.25” tall by 3.75” diameter

This might be one of the most perfect shapes I have ever produced. I mean,… I am absolutely in love with it. Commonly known as box elder, this species is known for the red hues produced when the tree is under distress, especially from insect invasion. You also see some pretty cool spalting lines as well as some dark discoloration which is often the result of mineral staining from the soil.  This piece is an all around winner.
